My Fitness Pal Experience

My Fitness Pal is an amazing app on android and apple store that helps track calories, carbs, etc. Anything you eat through out the day you just scan the barcode and just put the amount you ate and that's it! You pay nothing for the app and you get a free calorie counter and it also has different programs you can use to maintain, lose and gain weight! I have been using it and it really does help count everything I need throughout the day and also helps me record my workouts! So it all factors in at the end of the day and tells you what you need to do better on eating. I love this app and would encourage others to use it!

Beachbody: Piyo Review

I just wanted to speak some about PiYo today. This is a beachbody workout and I initially thought it was something similar to yoga. I do have knee troubles and sometimes my regular lifting and running are really stressful on them. So I read reviews and I started to do it along with my regular workout. I could tell just after one workout this was alot  less stress on my knees. Piyo tones your body without all the extra stress I was surprised also that it was not yoga. I repeat NOT YOGA. It does shape your body and when added with your other workouts it was some really great results! I am not a Beachbody coach so no I am not trying to sell you this product but for those who want to workout and want a less stressful workout I would recommend it! I have went through the whole program and it has been awesome! I definitely will continue doing the workouts!

Protien pancakes

My strawberry banana protien pancakes recipe.  1 scoop of vanilla protien powder  1/2 cup of strawberrys chopped  4 tbsp of almond milk (sweetened or unsweetened)  1/2 tsp of baking powder  1/2 tsp of vanilla  1 tbsp of applesauce  1/2 a banana  1 egg white  2-3 stevia packets  1/2 tsp of cinnamon  1/2 cup of flour (can substitute with whole wheat or oat flour)  Topping  Sugar free cheese cake pudding 2 tbsp And 5 strawberries sliced  And the other half of the banana you used with batter  Hope you enjoy I know I did! 😘

Intro to Me

Hello,  my name is Ashley and I am looking to inspire people and help them achieve their workout goals. I recently lost about 75 pounds. I was overweight and not happy with my life style.  As a freshman basketball player, I faced a knee injury. I had surgery to correct the injury but recovery was  long and required hard work. The following year I played, but as my junior year came along I re-injured my same knee. I was told if I kept playing I could severely injure my knee or even have abiding effects. I didn't know a life without basketball; I went into some unhealthy eating habits and worked out rarely. After about 10 months without basketball, I gained a considerable amount of weight. I looked at myself in the mirror and I wasn't contented with who I had became. So, I started to differentiate my life and turn it around completely.
